        Tiger Airlines Checked Baggage

The free checked baggage allowance is ONE item of baggage up to a maximum of 15kg per person. Passengers may not use the unused allowances of others. Only passengers travelling within the same reservation may pool their baggage allowance. Infants are not entitled to any free baggage allowance.

Items of Sporting equipment including but not limited to large fishing rods, golf clubs, bicycles, scooters, surfboards, body-boards, snowboards and skis can be carried in the hold of the aircraft subject to space being available.  Upon payment of an additional charge of AU$25 (or local currency equivalent) per item, per sector (flight) irrespective of weight, Tiger Airways is prepared to carry such items on a ‘limited release’ (i.e. entirely ‘at your own risk’ for damage or delay) basis. You may therefore wish to ensure that you have suitable private insurance cover in force for such items
